Instructor Courses

JOI is the major provider for a range of outdoor instructor training to start or level up your career from the below courses -

Avalanche Training

As an official Avalanche Canada Provider, JOI runs scheduled and private trainings for groups throughout winter including - 

​

AST1+ Avalanche Skills Training,  AST2 advanced Training, Backcountry Introduction days and Companion Rscue.

Wilderness First Aid

The exclusive partner for English and Chinese language WMA - Wilderness First Aid training, globally sanctioned  courses.

1 day Basic First Aid Workshop, 2 day WFA, 4 day WAFA Hybrid, 6 day WFR Hybrid & Bridge. With hybrid online theory options.

Outdoor Education

Covering areas from Alpine, Climbing, Hiking & Camping trips to specific Youth Nature camp programs & leadership.
