Welcome to your AST1+ ONLINE EDUCATION PORTAL! We invite you to please make a start on the AST theory – there are 4 main modules which each cover equally important information for your course. You also have your 'Avalanche Canada Avalanche Training Handbook' to reference and the AVVY SAVVY website as w great support. As we all learn differently, please allow between 5-10 hours to complete the module. You can save progress and come back throughout the course of the next 2 weeks. Before the in-person training – it is necessary to complete and pass every module with a 50% pass rate. Failing to do so, you may be refused from joining the training and not receive the official certification.
